            Margaret Malcomson (cj-ditto)

            John B. Dickson

            Died July 10, 1882 aged 89 …

cj:  I believe he was the hired man working on Alex’s farm – check the census records.  Yes, confirmed in 1880 census as 87 yrs old.

10/2004:  not hired man, but Margaret’s uncle.

Nearby Jamison Monument:

Alexander D. Makinson – Oct 29, 1870?       49 years …

Mary E. – daughter of Hugh and Mary Makimson – died Sept 23, 1846      22 yrs & 6 mo?

Hugh Makimson – died Sept 5, 1816 at 70 yrs & 1 mo    cj – if this is Mary’s father Hugh, the 1816 date must be a mis-read.

? Dickson – died Aug 9, 1819

cj:  notice the different spellings; these stones are very hard to read.

cj:  I’ll need to check, but I think Mary E’s death date is 1846, not 1816.
